"12 Weeks Lean Bulk"
My fitness journey had a rough start, as I do office based work which keeps me busy all day and most weekends. It was difficult for myself to find the time to commit to the gym , even eating regular meals wasn't easy for me to do. Due to this lifestyle I was unhappy with the amount of muscle mass I had and due to my age, it wasn't easy to gain much without help.
When I approached Larry I had some fitness knowledge from my previous trainer however, I felt my progress was lacking. I seek advice from Larry to ensure I got the results I was looking for, which was for me to bulk up. I explained to Larry that I didn't want this to just be a fitness journey, but more of a lifestyle change to better my life.Larry started off by advising me to make small changes as in to take less public transport, and do more walking where possible for my body to get used to daily exercise.
Due to my old eating habits, we started off by putting in effort for me to eat 3 meals a day. This was done for the first 4 weeks, as we needed my body to adjust to eating regulary.At our 4 week check in I felt that my metabolism had gotten faster as I was getting more hungry throughout the day. Larry advised that we increase my meals to 5 a day, now that my body was used to eating regular meals. As for training Larry introduced a mixture of hypertrophy training and HIIT training, to reduce my fat gain and increase muscle mass. With the training in place and my eating habits fixed, I feel that I am on track to a lifestyle change thanks to Larry's helps.
